I am using the Martysama v5.8 files shared in this thread: https://forum.turkmmo.com/konu/3903...s-offline-shop-v2-paylasilan-en-guncel-surum/

The server compiles and runs perfectly, but I'm completely stuck on the client side.

Basically, when I open metin2client.exe, the game cursor appears for about a second, and then the window closes instantly. The main issue is that my syserr.txt stays at 0 KB. The crash is so fast that it doesn't even have time to write a log.

I've already tried to fix it myself:

• I noticed in UserInterface.cpp that the source expects Python 2.7.6 (PY_VERSION_HEX==0x020706f0), but the client folder contained a 2.7.3 dll.
• So I installed the official Python 2.7.6 (32-bit), grabbed the correct python27.dll straight from the Windows/SysWOW64 folder, and copied the entire Lib folder into my client.
• I even tried bypassing ENABLE_PYLIB_CHECK and ENABLE_MILES_CHECK in the source code, and did a clean Batch Build (Release/Win32) on VS 2022.

Even after doing all that, I still get the exact same instant crash with an empty syserr.

Since the server is working fine, the issue is definitely on the client side. Could it be an incorrect version of the Granny DLL? Or maybe a missing file in the pack folder from update 2.5?

If anyone has an idea or has encountered this issue before, I would really appreciate the help. Thanks!

Extract the client source files back into the RAR archive and try building without making any changes. Will it build successfully?

Hello, I tried what you said.

I extracted a clean client source from the rar and compiled it without touching anything. I also used a fresh client folder, but it's the same thing.

As you can see in the video, both crash after 1 second. I've been stuck like this since yesterday right after downloading the full pack (Update 2.5).

The weirdest part is that my syserr is still 0 KB, absolutely no logs at all.
