The next point, we will have a look at now is “Training“ (Team → Training). Training has a big influence on the long-term-development of your players and your team. Therefore, you should put some thought in your training settings. You can choose which abilities of your players you want to train, and also with how much intensity, by clicking on the boxes next to each ability. While doing so, keep in mind that you should try to prevent training laziness by not training an ability too often or with too many “boxes“ over a long period. Training causes a loss of freshness (1 point for 1 box for each player), so keep that in mind - your players need to regenerate this freshness again over the week. Training more than you can regenerate will wear your players out and increase the risk of injuries. Furthermore players will not perform at their full potential when not fresh.
Besides the “player training“ there is “crew training“, which will influence the team itself. Click on the tab that says “crew training“ to change the settings. One difference between this and the “player training“ is, that there is no intensity bar, but instead a bar indicating the available training time (max. 10 boxes). You can use the whole available training time since “crew training“ will not affect freshness. The “crew training“ is used to train tactics or a team ability. It is best to concentrate on just 1 or 2 fields, because a given tactic or ability needs a good level of training before it can be used effectively. The blue bar below the tactics and team ability shows the overall level of training. While at the moment it is still at minimum, it will increase with each training, but also decrease again if you do not keep at least one box on this tactic/ablility.
Save your settings by clicking on the “save“ button at the bottom right, indicated by the red tick on the main menu.
