Paul, Mark and Jenny are outside the house with their friends, Ben and Kate. There is a new girl with them, too. Her name is Yumiko. She is nine years old and her family is Japanese. The children are happy because they are together again after the summer holidays. It is cool today and they have all got warm jackets and their schollbags.

JENNY: Hello, Ben. How are you?
BEN: Hi, I'm fine. Jenny, this is Yumiko. She's my new friend.
JENNY: Hello, Yumiko. These are my brothers, Mark and Paul
YUMIKO: Hello.
MARK+PAUL: Hi!
JENNY: Where are you from, Yumiko?
YUMIKO: Well, I'm Engilish but my family is from Japan.
