Help me Guys i want to start work on this..server manji but i try to change mysql password and i have error...

Please if you have have password for this serverfile help me please guys.

First of all, reboot your machine .. enter your id and password and follow the steps below.

1*

/usr/local/etc/rc.d/mysql-server stop



mysqld_safe --skip-grant-tables &

2* enter here and generate a new password. "Don't forget to copy all code, including the" * "in the password."

3 * Now go to your navicat can use any id or password.

search -> "mysql" -> "user" -> "% - root" will have a coded password in front of you, change it and you're done, now go back to putty and type.

5*

/usr/local/etc/rc.d/mysql-server restart

Now you can login to navicat with your new password.
