One of the ways to travel around the world, visit six continents, explore the world’s great capitals, luxurious resort destinations, and discover some of its remote villages and landscapes is international cruises. Cruising is a perfect combination of travel and holiday. A holiday at sea offers an endless choice of opportunities, both on board ship and ashore. People can have as much freedom as they want on a cruise holiday ,because they can tailor their holiday to suit them. It is now known as elit class’s vacation because of its high prices and luxurious ships. Nevertheless tourists can enjoy the comforts of great resorts, have the choice of a thousand different things to do.


When traveling on the ship it is essential to have high quality of services, this includes also a high quality of accommodation on board. While traveling around the world, visiting more than one place on a vacation, too many days are filed with airports, taxis and hotel lobbies. But when on cruise there is no rush, noise, each guest is able to find his/her peace and enjoy the nature. Each room is outfitted with a number of contemporary accessories and conveniences, and although far away from civilization each guest in his/her room has Internet access port, ship-to-shore telephone, television with up-to-the-minute international news, worldwide sports, feature films and educational documentaries and luxurious furniture. Guest capacity of ships varies, 6 stars ships has the capacity from 940-1080, while per guest space ratio varies from 52-70, the per guest staff ratio varies from 0.5-0.7. All rooms do not have varandah, but have view outside the ship. The highest level of comfort and style is enjoyed by guests who stay in Suite or Penthouse. Depending on which ship guest chooses, Penthouse range from approximately 400 to 1.300 sq.ft.

Food and Baverage

When sailing guests have opportunity to choose from a variety of restaurants, offering the world’s great cuisiness, created and served at a high level. They can enjoy a wine cellar with more than 150 selections, over 20,000 bottles in all, and the freshest regional specialities bought in port by chefs that day. When full capacity there are 2 seatings, to facilitate guests dining preferences, and gives them the convenience of open seating at breakfast and lunch.
Beside and abundance of selection from the cuisines of the world, F&B department also brings guests several restaurant choice: the bistros for breakfast seating by the pool, at the Grills or opt for breakfast any time of day from Room Service. For dinner, guests have even more choices. F&B departments of the ships serves classic European cuisine, along with regional specialities inspired by the ports ship visites, than Italian cuisine, Japanise cuisine and sushi specialities. For dining throughout the day, every F&B department offers a variety of delectable choices. Different cafe features with a casual ambiance with ocean views, and the buffet-style indoor/outdoor café offers both Early-and Late-Riser Breakfast, as well as late-morning bouillon service and luncheon buffets.
Daytime snacks, a lunchtime hamburger/hot dog grill, sandwiches, specialty burgers and a full bar are available at the Grills or Bars at the ship. During cruise, guests will be treated to several special buffets that might include different worlds restaurants and cafe. Ice cream, frozen yogurt, sherbets and freshly baked cookies are available during the dayat selected bars. Each ship feature an exceptional variety of dining options including main Dining Room, two or more specialty restaurants and Room Service available 24 hours.
Dining Room is located in the heart of the ship, beautifully appointed, with ocean views by day and a magnificent ambiance at night. Each waiters is generaly European-trained and chefs internationally acclaimed, who provide regionally inspired dishes and classic continental cuisine. Casual poolside dining is mainly offered on selected evenings.
After a long day's adventure ashore or a full schedule of activities on board, the very best option for dinner is to order in. Guests may order from the evening's menu in the Dining Room, chefs will do their best to oblige guests’ tastes. Those guests in Penthouses/Suites who order In-Suite & In-Stateroom Dining will be served by their butler, and also have the option of ordering from ships specialty restaurants.

Ship Features

Entertainment: Each ship give a number of ways to spend the evening, from large Broadway-style productions to classical recitals; from all types of movies to intimate cabaret performances. And these are just the choices guets could find on a typical night. Even when ship is hundreds of miles from the nearest city, guests are surrounded by entertainers and urban nightlife. At some ships there could be a casinos which offers blackjack, craps, rouolette, and numerious machines. Usually after dinner, there are many ways for guests to spend their evening. They can chose from energetic and exciting to quiet and intimate evenings. Seven days and evenings a week, every ship presents the best recently released films and many classic favorites in the Hollywood Theatre. The showroom was custom-designed to offer perfect views from each of its seats, and features state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems.
Before and after dinner hours, musical entertainment and dancing are offered in a number of venues around the ship. Each lounge features a diverse array of performances from classical artists to ballroom dance bands.
Computer Center: Internet Café at each ship provides e-mail services, Internet access, group and individual instruction on use of a PC and extensive complimentary enrichment course offerings. Each ship has at least 25 state-of-the-art PC workstations. Complimentary lectures or classes are offered each cruise.
Health & Fitness: Cruising is all about lifestyle: fine wining and dining, visiting exotic destinations and enjoying extravagant production shows. But today's guest is also interested in balancing the rich life of a cruise with health and fitness. The full-service Health and Fitnessl Salon offers a relaxing experience with sweeping ocean views. Trained professionals provide a range of treatments, including:
• Haircuts, hairstyling, coloring
• Facials, skin analysis
• Manicures, pedicures
• Barber services for men
Most ships offer a wide range of treatments and massage, as well as aerobics, stretching and other exercise classes, an extensive line of professional exercise/workout equipment and a professional personal trainer. Sauna and steam rooms are located at the same side of the ship, as are the massage therapy rooms.
On most cruises, a qualified PGA golf pro is on board to offer classes and clinics. There are driving range nets and a putting green, with a supply of practice clubs and balls.
Guests can enjoy a full-size, enclosed paddle tennis court on the ship-top Deck. For jogging, walking, stretching and fresh air, there's Deck, nearly a quarter-mile around for walking or jogging. Our two pools, the indoor/outdoor and the full-length Pool and adjoining Jacuzzi, are located on the ship-top Deck. Sunbathe, snooze and read while enjoying a refreshing drink poolside.
Onboard Etiquette: Clothing Suggestions
Throughout the day, guests wear a casual mix of active resort wear. Dining Room attire is casual during the day; however, swimsuits are not appropriate. If guests do not wish to change for a meal in the afternoon, dining on deck is available. For days in port, it is appropriate for guests to bring comfortable walking shoes.
Each evening on a l cruise has a specific dress code, which applies to all public areas of the ship after 6:00 pm. Guests find that the occasional formal evenings create a special atmosphere in contrast to the other more informal evenings on board. The three codes of attire are: casual, informal and formal. Typically, 10- to 14-day cruises have three formal nights. The number of informal nights is usually based on the number of days at sea, and casual nights are based on days in port.
• Formal Evening Attire – It is recommend evening dresses and gowns of fashionable length for ladies, and a tuxedo, dinner jacket or dark suit and tie for gentlemen.
• Informal Evening Attire - For ladies, evening dresses, cocktail dresses or pantsuits are suitable. For gentlemen, we suggest a sport coat and slacks; ties are optional.
• Casual Evening Attire - On casual evenings, more relaxed attire is accepted such as casual dresses and pantsuits for ladies, and sport shirt and slacks for gentlemen. Ties and jackets are not required.
Themed evenings are often offered; the cruise ticket lists the special evenings on each cruise.
Smoking Policy : Each ship management recognize that some of guests smoke and others do not. Therefore, the living environment on ships is designed to satisfy everyone. Most areas of the ship are non-smoking. There are designated smoking areas in most of bars and lounges Pipes and cigars are permitted only in the selected areas. Pipes and cigars may not be smoked in guest penthouses, staterooms, on verandahs or in corridors.
Junior Activities Programs: Quality of experience does not end with our grown-up cruisers. Kids have a variety of great activities to choose from on every cruise! Each ship offer a children's playroom and babysitting services on all cruises. During holiday cruises and selected sailings, additional children's activities are offered under the supervision of experienced Junior Activities Directors.
Our Junior Activities Program is Three-Tiered:
• 3-7 year olds
• 8-12 year olds
• 13-17 year olds
Children under six months are not permitted on board without a signed waiver by parent(s). Hours of operation vary depending on the itinerary and number of children on board.

Activities: Activities are determined by age and the number of children on board. On those sailings with Junior Activities Directors, a detailed schedule of events is created at the beginning of each cruise.

Dining: Kids may choose from a special Junior Cruiser's menu, and ship's executive chefs and other culinary staff can prepare custom dishes. The Grill serves complimentary hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza and more. Baby food, high chairs and booster seats are available.
Shopping: There are many components that go into most travelers' ideal image of the perfect vacation. Dining, dancing, sightseeing and, of course, shopping. Large shopping areas with shops offering a wide variety of merchandise carefully selected for discerning guests.
Shore excursions and Extended Land Program

Shore Excursions: Visiting many ports in many countries, ship management have formed strong bonds with guides who will show guests the best of country’s homelands-its sights and sounds, its markets, history and people. Working with these experts, each management department have carefully designed their excursions to fit guests interests and their schedule. Usually these tours are operated by local independent companies. In selling tickets for these optional programs cruiseline companies act only for other independent companies who provide such programs as independent contractors. Guests can choose half-day or full-day excursions, take a multi-day Overland Program, or take a two- to six-night Extended Land Program to begin or end their cruise.

On this exciting excursion you will:
• Take a 25-minute ride along the picturesque South Shore.
• Arrive at a natural 9-acre lagoon called the “Dolphin Experience”, home to a pod of Atlantic Bottle Nosed Dolphins.
• Participate in an orientation about dolphins with the facility’s well-trained staff.
• Step off the floating dock and onto a 3-ft deep platform where the dolphins will swim right up to you.
• Have the opportunity to touch, play with and take pictures with the dolphins.
Bike adventure , fishing tour , island tours , nature experiences , snorkel tour , city tour , beach parties can be some other types of shore excursions.

Extended Land Program: A great number of the world’s finest sights and sounds are found near the sea. But far inland, there are many other discoveries that are too important to miss. This is why each ship’s management have developed Extended Land Programs. Eitherat the begining or at the end of cruise, guest can take two- to six- night trips to some of the world’s most remarkable cities and inland destinations. But even though you are traveling away from the ship, you still enjoy the standards we have established for comfort, professionalism and warmth. These programs have been created by local travel experts who deliver the highest level of service; the level that our guests enjoy every day on the ship.

They call it the Devil's Throat. It's as if the entire continent of South America decided to disgorge its waters in one spectacular gush. Higher and wider than Niagara, the cataracts form a torrential border between Brazil and Argentina, plummeting 269 ft. into a deeply carved gorge in the midst of a natural wonderland of sub-tropical rain forest. Amazingly you can walk out on catwalks perched directly over the falls, draped with orchids and ferns. Scarlet - mantled macaws and orange - billed toucans call out raucous cries in the rain forest. Iridescent rainbows formed by the spray arch across the water; butterflies hover in the sunlight, and the fairy tale vistas are unsurpassed.

Hotel Programs

One important part of World Cruises are carefully selected property for its location, ambiance, level of service and attention to detail. It is appropriate for high quality World Cruises to have recognized and selected 5-star hotels in major cities for a memorable beginning or end of cruise. Some of the guests would wish to begin or complete cruise in ground style. Therefore there must be a choice of Hotel Program.

Before boarding or at the end of cruise, local travel experts take care of all the arrangements-meeting and assisting guests at the airport, transfering them to hotels, then escorting them to the ship when it is time to embark.
Hotel Program should include:
• 5-star Hotel Accommodation
• Breakfast daily
• Meet and Assist arrangements at the airport
• Group transfer from airport to hotel and vice versa
• Organized sightseeing transfer from hotel to ship and vice versa
• Hotel tax and porterage

To give an example , Princess Cruiselines have over 70 itineraries to all continents visiting more than 200 ports. If we put them into divisions , we can summarize these itineraries as Exotics Cruises , Australia and South Pacific , Asia , South America , Africa and Antarctica , Canada and New England.

Cruise Information : Crystal Cruise

a. Cruise Details

Cruise Fares: include port changes and all normal shipboard services and facilities. The cruise fare does not include airfare, transfers, shore excursions, sightseeing or meal ashore, taxes, gratuities, liquor, wines, laundry or valet services, telephone and e-mail communications or any items or service of a personal nature such as massage, spa services and hairdresing. Transfer, porterage and luggage handling are included in cruises all-inclusive Air/Sea Program (see Cruise Informations, part b). Ig guests choose to purchase and arrange independent air travel, you may purchase embarkation and disembarkation transfer from Crystal Cruises. Cruise fares quoted are in US$ and are per person, based on double occupancy, and include applicable port changes.
Children: Occupying a double stateroom as a second guest is charged full published fare regardless of age. Children 11 and under traveling as third berth guest are charged 50% of the minimum fare. A third person (age 12 or older) may travel in a double occupancy stateroom (subject to availability) at the minimum fare for that cruise.
Single Travelers: Single occupancy of double stateroom is available on a limited basis, subject to availability at the time of reservation. Single fares are capacity-controlled and may be withdrawn at any time.
Safety & Security: All ships are equipped with modern stabilizers and build to the world’s highest standards of shipbuilding quality. Ships comply with all safety codes and pass annual testing inspections with the highest marks.

b. Air/Sea Program
The Air/Sea Program includes round-trip air transportation between the published Gateway City the port of embarkation/disembarkation. Within 30 days of departure, the Air/Sea Program is on a request basis, subject to flight availability.
Air Transportation: Crystal Cruises reserved the right to choose the air carrier, routing and city airport from Gateway City, as well as the right to substitute charter flights for scheduled service and vice versa. If, due to scheduling conflict, it becomes necessary to overnight guest en route to or from their cruise, Crystal Cruises provide hotel accommodations, baggage handling, and transfers on a complimentary basis. Guests are responsible for all meals and other items of a personal nature. Ait tickets issued by Crystal Cruises may be highly restrictive. Because of this, guests may find that air tickets cannot be reissued/revalidated, exchanged for another carrier or routing or upgraded with frequent flyer mileage credit.

c. Before Sailing
Except arranged air transportation there are some things that guest will ask before they buy vacation. Boarding the Ship: The ship is usually available for guests boarding at 3:00 pm. The exact embarkation and sailing times are specified on cruise ticket. All guests must carry a government-issued photo identification card in order to embark.
Cruise Tickets: After full cruise payment and 30 days prior to departure, guests receive their ticket wallet which contains all cruise documents: cruise ticket complete with the day-to-day itinerary, air ticket and hotel confirmation if there, luggage tags and other necessary information. Passaport/Visas:Guests must take full responsibility for securing the required travel documents at least one month prior to departure.
Cruise Protection Program
To help ensure that you have peace of mind, Crystal Cruises highly recommend guests Cruise Protection Program, which is designed especially for the guests of Crystal Cruises. This program provides the wide range of travel insurance protection and assistance services demanded by discriminating travelers, at very competitive rates. The Cruise Protection Program not only provides reimbursement for penalties that may be assessed due to cancellations for covered reasons, but also provides medical expense reimbursement for accidents overseas when medicare and many private insurance policies do not.

d. Terms and Conditions

NOTIFICATION: For complete information on terms and conditions, itinerary, liability of Crystal Cruises, liability limits, etc., and all categories mentioned below, refer to the Passenger Ticket Contract. A copy of the Passenger Ticket Contract is available by contacting your travel agent or Crystal Cruises.
RESPONSIBILITY: Information contained in this brochure is not an offer or a contract. The transportation of guests and baggage on Crystal Cruises vessels is provided solely by the company and is governed by the terms and conditions printed on the Passage Contract (the Ticket). Your acceptance of a ticket constitutes agreement to those terms and conditions. Among other rights reserved by the company, the company may choose not to accept any person as a member of the cruise for any reason. Any cruise may be cancelled, shortened or lengthened as circumstances so demand. Right is reserved to assess fares and charges in effect at the time of sailing.
While the greatest care has been taken to offer the finest services available, Crystal Cruises is not to be held responsible for any act, event or omission during the time that guests are not on board the ship. All arrangements for air transportation, lodging, transfers and shore excursions are made by Crystal Cruises solely as an accommodation for the suppliers of the services featured in this brochure.
Each guest agrees not to hold Crystal Cruises, its owners, its agents or representatives liable, in the absence of its own negligence, for any loss, injury, expense or damage results either directly or indirectly from any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, of any person or firm which provides any goods or services in connection with the trip or any available option. Without limiting the foregoing, Crystal Cruises shall have no liability to any guests for the quality of services and the condition of cleanliness at a hotel or housing facility, or for any transportation delay, including, but not limited to liability for inconvenience, shortened vacation time, additional expense, or any other kind of damage. Crystal Cruises also expressly disclaims all responsibility of any nature whatsoever for any loss, damage or injury to property or person from the provision of any air, rail or motor coach transportation.
Deposit or payment for a reservation constitutes consent to all terms and conditions.
ITINERARY: Guests acknowledge that the scheduled itinerary is subject to delay, modification, or port-of-call cancellation due to weather and other causes beyond the control of Crystal Cruises. If necessary, at the sole discretion of Crystal Cruises, Crystal Cruises may substitute ports-of-call or make itinerary changes provided that in doing so, reasonable attempts are made to make the substitutions to the same benefit or advantage to the guests. Further, reservations are subject to change in the event of a full ship charter.
ADVANCED, CANCELED OR DELAYED SAILINGS: In the event of a charter of the vessel or stoppage of labor for whatever cause or for any other reason beyond its control, Crystal Cruises may cancel or postpone any scheduled sailing and shall not be liable for any loss to guests by reason of such cancellation or postponement.
CRUISE FARE: The cruise fares shown are in U.S. dollars and are per person, double occupancy. The fare paid by the guest covers all normal shipboard services, meals, gratuities, accommodations and facilities. It does not cover air transportation, optional shore excursions, sightseeing or meals ashore, port charges, NAFTA or airline taxes, liquor, wines, laundry or valet services or any other items or services of a personal nature unless specified in writing for a specific cruise. All cruise fares are subject to change at any time. Early Booking Savings are available up to 120 days before sailing date.
DEPOSIT & PAYMENT: A deposit of 10% of the per person fare is required within 72 hours of reservation to confirm a booking. Payments cannot be transferred to alterative booking within 120 days of sailing. Unless otherwise noted, final payment must be received by Crystal Cruises 90 days prior to cruise departure. Final payment must be received within 48 hours for bookings made within 30 days of departure. Crystal Cruises reserves the right to cancel any booking not fully paid at time of final payment. Payment may be made by personal check, American Express, Discover, Visa, MasterCard or Diners Club.
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS: Changes of sailing date are subject to cancellation penalties. Cancellation requests must be addressed to and received in writing at Crystal Cruises. Requests received later will be subject to some charges.
All refunds are subject to incurred costs for hotel, air and ground services where applicable. Within 30 days, a 100% cancellation fee will apply to air, land and hotel programs. We are unable to provide refunds for lost tickets, tickets not used (in whole or in part), or for guests failing to bring travel and health documents as required.
RESERVATIONS CHANGES: No name substitutions are allowed at any time. After final documentation has been issued corrections to cruise tickets, hotel reservations may be made for a $50 per person fee. Changes on airline tickets are subject to airline approval. In some instances, name corrections may result in the loss of original air reservations and a $150 change fee per person. Alternate air carriers may then be substituted at Crystal Cruises’ discretion.
TRAVEL, VISAS & HEALTH DOCUMENTS: Guests should consult their travel agents, health service and/or physician to determine and obtain the travel and health documents required. .
HEALTH & MEDICAL MATTERS: Each guest represents and warrants that he or she is physically and otherwise fit to travel on the voyage. Crystal Cruises will not accept reservations for guests who will be past the 6th month of pregnancy by the end of their cruise. Any physical disability that may require attention or treatment must be reported to Crystal Cruises at time of booking. Guests confined to wheelchairs must notify Crystal Cruises at time of booking, and should recognize that conditions in some ports of call may preclude them from going ashore. Crystal Cruises strongly recommends that wheelchair guests travel with someone ,who is able to assist them. Shipboard medical services and facilities, including doctor, nurse and medications, are available to all guests at a reasonable charge.

CRUISE DOCUMENTS: Cruise documents and airline tickets will be sent to guests after receipt of final payment and required guest information, approximately 25 days prior to departure.
CANCELLATION PENALTIES: A program of shore excursions may be made available for purchase on board the vessel. Advance information will be sent with final documentation where applicable. Crystal Cruises reserves the right to withdraw any shore excursions or land program if minimum numbers are not achieved. Cruise cancellation penalties remain in effect as per terms and conditions outlined in the cruise brochure. Cancellation by Crystal Cruises of any of these programs does not constitute grounds for your cancellation of your cruise. Shore excursion program fares are per guest and subject to space availability. Operation of these shore excursions is subject to weather conditions, flight schedule changes and local conditions.
VISITORS: Visitors to our vessels are restricted in all ports of call worldwide. Special arrangements may be requested by writing Crystal Cruises at least 30 days prior to departure.
IMPORTANT: Crystal Cruises makes every effort to adhere to the specifics shown in this or any publication. However, circumstances may necessitate variations.
All information contained herein is subject to change.
All cruise and air fares listed are in effect at time of
printing. Under normal conditions, cruise fare is guaranteed when payment of deposit is received. The only exception is an event causing a significant change in company operating costs, such as a major change in world conditions, a sharp increase in oil prices or other circumstances beyond the control of Crystal Cruises.
