Patch Notes: Offline Shop Update, Fixes, and New Changes
You will need to patch your client using Autopatcher.exe or download it again if you can't auto-patch as the game version changed.
Dear Players,
We are excited to bring you the latest updates and improvements to OldMetin2. This patch introduces significant updates to the Offline Shop system, essential fixes, and new pricing corrections for items.
News
- Offline Shop Update:
- The new Offline Shop introduces a more intuitive UI and numerous QoL improvements.
- Older offline shops can no longer be created. Players must now use the newest version.
- Items and Yang from old offline shops are stored in the **offline shop safebox**.

Important: Retrieve all items and Yang from the safebox soon, as the old system will be removed in a future update.
New Offline Shop Features
1.
Shop Restoration
- Restore your shop for just 500 Yang without re-listing items.
2.
Advanced Search
- Search Shop (F8 key) supports multiple languages .
- Premium features: sort by price, open the seller’s shop directly.
- Message the owner of the item.
3.
Performance Improvements
- Auctions and offers are now limited to 30 per player to prevent overloading.
4.
Shop Storage Redesign
- Improved storage system prevents abuse of infinite item stacking.
5.
Customization and Shop Expansion
- Add flair to your shop with
shop skins and reposition it on the map for better sales.
- Unlock up to three shop pages using the
Private Shop Key.
Fixes
1.
PvP Dojang “Hall of Fame”:
- Winners are now displayed, enabling toplist tracking.
2.
Server Stability:
- Resolved database crash caused by a `null item_award` during login.
- Fixed a rare bug preventing proper disconnection on “exit game” or “logout”.
3.
Cheating Prevention:
- Banned users with active `login_key` can no longer log in.
- Players cannot bypass the player-to-account check by selecting non-existing players.
4.
Exploits Fixed:
- Item Duplication: Prevented during character name changes.
- Resolved `login2 packet` spoofing that could disconnect specific accounts.
- Fixed dropped item duplication when killed with negative karma.
- ITEM_QUES items now consume correctly when dropped on the ground.
5.
Memory and Crash Fixes:
- Resolved dangling pointer issues caused by items not properly removed from the DelayedSave list.

This event is active till the end of July and runs 24/7.
You can obtain some amazing rewards from the exchange shop.
Costumes & hairstyles from the exchange shop offers only one bonus, costumes & hairstyles in item shop offers two bonuses (800 hp + a random one), both of them lasts for 30 days and the time runs out even if you are on or not.
The Teleportation Ring can be used 50 times only.
Emotion Mask lasts for 30 days even if you are online or not.
The Golden Football icon will be fixed today and you have to patch your client when I announce it.
